NEEM BASED TOOTHPASTE
Toothpaste is a paste or gel dentifrice used with a toothbrush as an accessory to clean and maintain the aesthetics and health of teeth. Toothpaste is used to promote oral hygiene: it serves as an abrasive that aids in removing the dental plaque and food from the teeth, assists in suppressing halitosis, and delivers active ingredients (most commonly fluoride) to help prevent tooth and gum disease. Neem toothpaste is made from the Neem Extract (Leaf or Bark). Neem as a plant has medicinal and healing properties. Neem leaf extract has antibacterial, antifungal, soothing and moisturizing properties. The Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO) has developed and perfected process technology for production of Neem tootpaste with the overall objective to stimulate industrial development through the small and medium enterprise, create employment and reduce poverty.

KULIKULI
Groundnut is known by many names, including peanut, earthnut, monkey nut and poor man’s nut. Although groundnut is native to South America, it is successfully grown in other parts of the world and has become an important oil seed and food crop in tropical, sub-tropical and warm temperate zones. Most groundnuts are grown in India and China. Nigeria is one of the major groundnut growing countries. Nigeria and Senegal account for about 45% of total African production. The output of groundnut grown in Nigeria in 2012 was 3,070,000 tonnes and the area covered was 2,420,000 hectares. Groundnut is rich in oil and protein, and has a high energy value. It can be eaten raw, roasted or cooked and the flour is an ingredient in many foods. Groundnut is important in vegetarian diets because of the protein it contains. It provides 13 different vitamins, especially A, the B group, C and E, along with 26 essential trace minerals, including calcium, iron, zinc and boron, and dietary fiber. Relief agencies supply groundnut pastes to alleviate malnourishment in droughts and famines, particularly in children. Kuli-kuli is traditionally Hausa snack that is primarily made from peanuts. But today, “Kulikuli” has become a popular snack in Nigeria and its consumption cut across ethnic groups in Nigeria. It is often eaten alone or with a mixture of garri, sugar and water popularly called "garri soakings". It is also eaten with “koko”, “fura”, “akamu”; and is sometimes ground and put into salad. It is often ground as and used as a major ingredient for “Suya” and “Kilishi” production. Kuli-kuli”, a groundnut product has a lot of benefits to human being such as, protecting the heart, strengthen the bones and prevent birth defects e.t.c based on the nutritional composition of groundnut, it major ingredient of production.

Soap is obtained from the saponification reaction of fat and alkali. Various raw materials such as tallow, lard, coconut oil, palm oil, palm kernel oil are used for soap production. It is a popular washing and cleaning product. They are therefore, indispensable items as a daily requirement in homes, offices, schools, hospitals, restaurants and so on. Neem soap is made from the oil of the neem tree and the leaf extract. Neem as a plant has medicinal and healing properties. It is useful in the treatment of eczema, psoriasis, acne or dry skin. Neem oil and the leaf extract has antibacterial, antifungal, soothing and moisturizing properties that are beneficiary to the skin.

MOISTURIZING CREAM
Moisturizers are complex mixtures of chemical agents specially designed to make the external layers of the skin (epidermis) softer and more pliable. They increase the skin's hydration (water content) by reducing evaporation. Naturally occurring skin lipids and sterols, as well as artificial or natural oils, humectants, emollients, lubricants, etc., may be part of the composition of commercial skin moisturizers. Moisturizers prevent and treat dry skin, protect sensitive skin, improve skin tone and texture, and mask imperfections. They are usually available as commercial products for cosmetic and therapeutic uses. They can be used to prevent the skin from becoming too dry or oily. Moisturizing cream increases the skin’s ability to attract, hold and distribute moisture.

LIQUID DETERGENT
A Detergent is a cleansing agent and a synthetic substance other than soap. A detergent contains an active agent (called surface active agent or surfactant) that wets the fabric, emulsifies oily metal soubise grime and keeps the soil in suspension. A liquid detergent is a surfactant or a mixture of surfactants with "cleaning properties in dilute solutions." These substances are usually alkyl benzene sulfonates, a family of compounds that are similar to soap but are more soluble in hard water, because the polar sulfonate (of detergents) is less likely than the polar carboxyl (of soap) to bind to calcium and other ions found in hard water.

EDIBLE MUSHROOM CULTIVATION
Edible mushrooms like Pleurotus are known to be among the largest of fungi. Mushrooms have been universally recognized as food and it is a nutritious delicacy grown on commercial scale in many parts of the world including Nigeria. Mushroom cultivation serves as the most efficient and economically viable biotechnology for the conversion of lignocellulose waste materials into high quality protein food. Nigeria is richly endowed with good quality mushroom like Pleurotus and Agaricus genera which can be mass-produced for local consumption as well as for international market. It contains many vitamins and minerals but very low on sugar and fat. It can be grown in a temperature between 20 and 30°C and required relative humidity is 55 to 75%. Mushroom is a nutritious source of vegetarian food. It is a major horticulture product all over the world and is becoming popular in Nigeria. Mushrooms are a natural product with many nutritional and medicinal advantages. Mushrooms are good as nutritious food for all ages and under all conditions of health. They are cholesterol free and in its place ergo-sterol is present which gets converted to vitamin D by the human body and contain virtually no fat or sodium. Mushrooms supply dietary fibre and are a good source of several important vitamins B and C such as thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, biotin, pantothenic acid. Mushrooms are rich in good quality proteins with lysine and tryptophan that are normally deficient in cereals. The carbohydrates in the mushrooms are at a level of 4.5 to 5.0 per cent but are in the form of glycogen, chitin and hemicellulose instead of starch. The fat content is as low as 0.3 % but is rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid. For long-term storage of mushrooms, canning, pickling and drying processes are employed. The quality of the preserved product is rarely comparable with that of fresh mushrooms. Dried and Canned mushrooms are convenient for long-term storage and transportation.
